About Chris McGuire MIHort DIP.G.D.

I would like to introduce myself as Chris McGuire (MIHort DIP G.D.) I have gardened all my life and been on most garden jobs hands on.

From tree felling in the woods in my twenties, clearing building sites, project and site management, working with developers and local authorities to achieve the best possible environment, taking into account the countless problems new developments can throw at you, actually digging the foundations for walls and ponds, preparing the lawns in private gardens, laying the paving and putting in the lighting, planting hundreds of trees and shrubs and plants and bulbs. Cutting hedges and lawns, greenhouse work and growing fruit and veg and flowers.

Here we are today, as much in love with your garden as ever. I have put together a few designs so you can see what our style of design entails.

Design is not achieved in 5 minutes as some would have you believe (my life is witness to that!) Good design takes thought care and time.
