Thought for the month June 2010

Our potatoes are shooting so we are ridging and mulching with grass cuttings.

The roses are in strong growth and need compost and food and any suckers removed.

The lawn is a bit dry so we only cut 1/3rd off growth and if its very dry return to the ground.

We're now thinking about dhalias and chrysanthemus for late summer colour.

If there were no trees or plants there would be no life on earth
